From one-year ago: Redisplayed now so you can decide for yourself how we're doing...

The date (and approximate time) of the first time in
history that the record of a vote in the U.S. house of
representatives was completely erased.

The unemployment rate was: 4.6% (July)
The DOW closed over $14,000 for the first time in
history about two weeks earlier (7/19/2007**)
The poverty rate was: 12.3%
Median cost of a home (sold) was: $258,000
Home ownership rate (households) was: 68.2%

(People present claim the actual vote
was 215 - 213, but the details are relatively
unimportant compared to the event itself)

** It closed at $14,000.41. Many of you probably heard the media reports in October of 2008, stating that October 9, 2007 was the first time the DOW closed over 14000. Sadly, this demonstrates just how far our once-trusted press (and journalism in general) has fallen as well (apparently they all used wishipedia as their source?).

Career
Here's a terse resume and a self-assessment of professional skills. In the future I may include some answers to interview questions. Along with a place to ask new questions. Sort of a FAQ for prospective employers and clients.

	This currently includes a Dynamic Web area where you can produce your own web pages and edit web pages that others have produced It also includes a BBS system too. You might like to go ahead and register.

Me?
	Here's where I'll try to get a little personal (in as much as an older guy can without being embarrassing). Please don't mistake anything you find here as an extension of my resume. It is, in fact, decidedly NON-professional by design. (Note: Right now it's mostly a construction site)

	Resources like Links, Utilities, Downloads and some site information will eventually go here. This will also be my place to experiment with web page design, aesthetics, and software issues. Right now it's just a big messy construction site.
